Just an update following a meeting with the South Quay builders, Bowman and Kirkland.
1. The work on the new sluice gates have started and Part of Harvey 's quay wall has been exposed.
2. Following requests from our friends, the builders will shortly have an information board fixed to the exterior fence, near the entrance, this board will have a set of the plans.
3. Later this week it is the lowest tide for sometime, the archeologists and builders will be investigating the granite lining outside the Carnsew sluice, hoping that it will be exposed as part of the development.
4. Work is progressing well on South Quay
