The owners of an ice cream franchise based in Hayle are looking to sell their business and their recipes.

The Barden family, who own and run Mr B's ice cream announced last night on Facebook that they are looking for a buyer for their business.

Miller Commercial Chartered Surveyors have been tasked with marketing and selling the popular ice cream business, which will be going on the market tomorrow for the price of £89,950 leasehold.

The buyer of Mr B's, which has people queuing for their ice cream all year round, will be able to have all fixtures and fittings in the two stores in Hayle, which are located on Penpol Terrace and on Copperhouse.

The new owner will also gain the existing customers and profile of the business that has been built up over the last 10 years as well as a comprehensive training package to run the business.

Most importantly the new owner will receive the top secret recipes for around 300 flavours of ice-cream.

The £89,950 asking price does not include rent on the two properties.

Paul Collins, a member of the business transfer team for the surveyors, said: "This is an opportunity to acquire a successful and virtually unopposed business in two prominent roadside locations in Hayle.

"Judging from past experience of selling similar type business we are expecting to be inundated with enquiries both from locals and potential buyers from out of county looking for a lifestyle change."
