151214 | Does anyone know what all the floating bridge pontoons and piling pipes | Hayle development discussion group | Facebook

Does anyone know what all the floating bridge pontoons and piling pipes are in the new fish landing at the end of the quay out near the new energy park....could it be something to do with a crossing to Lelant or is that pure speculation on my part?

Helen Wilson-Prowse Pontoons for the fishermen I believe. Harbour master secured grant funding for them. A good start in more improvements in the harbour.

David W Raymer Yes I recall when the New Owner's representative was at the Council meeting he did mention this .

Graham Coad Hopefully it is for the new fisherman's pontoons on East Quay to increase mooring and landing space I think.

East Quay is the one beside Philps pasty emporium, with Baumbach's Boat Builders.
