Following investigations into the location of underground utilities, the widening of the Nut Lane between the Wyevale Garden Centre and the A30 will start on Friday 15 July and be complete by Friday 22 July.

A ‘keep clear’ marking at the entrance to the garden centre will be provided as part of the works. To minimise disruption to traffic the scheme will be constructed overnight and there will be temporary traffic signals to safely manage the construction site.

The scheme layout that is being implemented is an interim scheme to provide two lanes on the approach to the A30 roundabout.
