Come and join us on Friday 17th July 2015 for a fabulous Treasure Hunt and barbecue in the grounds of the Angarrack Inn by the river. The Treasure Hunt starts at 6pm in the Angarrack Inn car park, entry is via a small donation to the Christmas Lights fund. The barbecue starts at the same time with all the favourites. The Treasure Hunt has a circular walk around the Angarrack locality centred on the pub. The village of Angarrack is holding its Spring Duck Races at the slightly earlier time of 3pm on Saturday 16th May (weather permitting!) at the viaduct on Riverside in Angarrack. The earlier time is to help the younger ones! This event is to help raise money for the famous Angarrack Christmas Lights. There will be a number of races including ones especially for children as well as the main event for Champion Duck Racer! Whilst not racing why not try the Bottle Stall, buy a raffle ticket and tuck in to the BBQ and delicious crepes! All welcome.

The candle lit carol service which took place on December 14 was well attended and enjoyed by all. Thanks go to Pastor Kenny Bassett for taking this service. Thanks are also extended to chapel members and members of the community who did readings or solos and special thanks to the organist Mr Geoff Pooley for his sterling work throughout the evening. The offering, which was taken for Action for Children - Cornwall branch, amounted to £100.
