Everybody is warmly invited to attend “Festivity! Interpretations of the amazing Christmas lights of Angarrack, Newlyn and beyond” This is a photographic exhibition by Nick Bradford in the third room at New Street Gallery in Penzance that celebrates the ingenuity of the lights’ creators, while presenting the amazing light displays as they’ve never been seen before. Angels come alive, stars explode and snowflakes dance. The images are startlingly fresh as Nick experiments with his camera to create vivid new imagery - without the aid of Photoshop! read more »

The grand switch on of the Angarrack Christmas Lights will take place
on Saturday 3rd December 2011
at the Angarrack Inn 7:00pm
Switch on — Saturday 3rd December, 7pm by the Pub.
Switch On night will see Santa’s arrival and he will be pleased to see Angarrack's little ones in the children’s Christmas grotto. read more »

FLOWER ARRANGING - Christmas Workshop | Thu 24 Nov
The first session will be an informal demonstration covering inexpensive ideas for flower arranging in the home at Christmas time.
The second session will be a workship when you will be encouraged to bring along your flowers, foliage, containers, Christmas baubles etc. To create your own arrangements with help and assistance when required.

URGENT: Angarrack Lights takedown
Sadly, it's that time again for the last Christmas event of Christmas 2010.
The lights will be being taken down on Saturday 15th January, starting at 8am meeting in the centre of the village at the crossroads by the green.
Elves will be busy all day all over the village taking down the lights - the cherry picker will be in operation too.
HELP NEEDED!!
Don't worry if you can't make 8am, whatever time you can make and however long you can spare will be very gratefully received.
